Happy 8th Birthday! We had a small party with a few friends~ we had a nice time...

Homemade Bread... mmmmmmm!

I recently got the recipe for Kuchen, from my cousin Nancy. This is a family recipe... something that my Great-Aunt & Great-Grandma made.... it took all day to make, but was well worth it. Luke ate 3 big pieces~ and said it is the best bread in the world.

Bush is OUT...Finally!!!

I have voted, since I was 18 years old... but never been this excited about a new President. I'm really looking forward to watching Barack Obama in his new role... I really believe that he will make much needed changes for our country. I pray that God will bless him and his family.

Florida

We went to St. Pete ~ January 1st. We spent the night in a beautiful resort and then drove to Clearwater Beach and went on this 2 hour Pirate Cruise. It was a lot of fun.
